Looks like the reason of Rihanna and Chris Brown missing from 2009 Grammy Award is clearer and clearer. He was arrested on February 8, 2009 for making criminal threats under investigation for domestic violence charges, following an argument with his lover Rihanna in Hancock Park, Los Angeles, California. Actually Chris Brown and Rihanna were set to perform at the 2009 Grammy Awards, but were removed and replaced by Justin Timberlake and Al Green for being absent in the party. The Los Angeles Times reported that he is being represented by defense attorney Mark Geragos, who is best known for defending pop-star Michael Jackson, actress Winona Ryder, Gary Condit, and Susan McDougal.
